Mail Merge Assignment
Hello class,
You have to submit an assignment on questions given. Question 1 should be hand written and Question 2 should be mailed having 3 files defined below.
Last Date for submission: 10th November,2010
Question 1: Explain the Mail Merge feature of MS Word?
Question 2: Practical task:
The mail merge feature in Microsoft Word allows you to type one letter and merge it for a number of people. For this activity, you are going to type a letter inviting your friends to your birthday. Create multiple letters and envelops using mail merge.
Create a data source with 10 names and addresses.
- You must add one or more of the following in the letter:
· Clip Art
· AutoShape
· WordArt
- Create an envelope for the letter also and merge it with the data source. There should be 10 envelopes when it is complete.

Invitation letter text with proper indentation. Atleast two paragraphs should be there with proper indentation and alignment.

You need to type the invitation letter once. Save it with name "Main_letter.doc". When you create data source (table of records), save it with name "Guest list.mdb".After completing the merge, when you get 10 letters, save it as "Invitation.doc". Send these 3 files at my personal email id: sumati_927@yahoo.co.in
